FOR SCALE

Four single square foot modules comprise “A1” above. The colorful array of individual bits of glass are visible at this viewing range.

Modular Fodomosaics in production. Each of the three modules is one square foot.

Glass tile Fodomosaic murals are where the ancient craft of mosaics meets technology. Using traditional mortar and grout (earth-based putties that bind the tiles together), bits of glass are nestled together to form a realistic, durable, washable, and architecturally significant photo-image. This is expensive and time-consuming to produce and is priced accordingly. However, as an alternative to a such a large one-time wall-size investment, modular Fodomosaics are available as incremental purchases, either in 12”x12” or 24”x24” portable modules which are ideal for, say, an apartment renter who will some day permanently install the tile in their own home. What’s more, Fodomosaic modules are also beautiful by themselves as abstract compositions of color.

Choose from existing designs by the artist or inquire regarding a personally commissioned Fodomosaic based upon a treasured image of your own. Photographic services may also be available, as it is important to begin with a quality image.
